Stunning concerts at Finlandia Hall on January 5th and January 6th, 2026 – Stay at the Strauss Hotel of 2026
The Epiphany Strauss concerts have become almost synonymous with New Year celebrations, and for many, they have been a joyful annual tradition for years. For more than 25 years, elegant melodies have transported listeners to the grandiose balls of 19th-century Vienna, and this year will be no exception.
The Lohja City Orchestra, complemented by students from the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki, will perform under the baton of maestro Atso Almila, featuring the most beloved melodies of the Waltz King.
Welcome to the Strauss concerts at the renewed Finlandia Hall on January 5th at 7 PM and January 6th, 2026, at 2 PM. The concerts will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission.

We are honored to host concertgoers as the Strauss Hotel for the 2026. Make your evening a complete experience: stay at Hotel AX surrounded by art, enjoy a delicious dinner or exquisite cocktails in our restaurant, and then head off for a musical delight at Finlandia Hall.
A tram departs from right in front of the hotel’s entrance—tram number 8 to Helsinki’s Apollonkatu or number 9 to Helsinki’s Central Railway Station, both about a 10-minute walk to Finlandia Hall. Our reception is also happy to arrange a taxi to take you to the concert.
